This screenshot show language between Chief Drake and Watechia talking about their kissing episodes. Watechia asks " Can we not have sex if I please you?" This is an obvious reference to her giving him oral sex. You will see from other text messages a pattern on hookups for oral sex
This screenshot shows Watechia's boyfriend was considerate enough to offer to bring oil/lubricant to the "room". This is all while her husband was at home with the kids

Watechia has a documented history of engaging in inappropriate relationships with colleagues during work hours. In 2016, while serving as a principal, she reportedly had several sexual encounters in her office with Anthony Hall, a fellow MNPS employee. After leaving MNPS for a role in Hamilton County, similar behavior allegedly continued with Quintin Alford. Upon her return to Nashville as the Director of Children’s Services, she has been linked to Chief Drake, Michael Pratt (Principal at Stratford), and Todd Campbell (CEO of Backfield in Motion). Text messages suggest a consistent pattern of sexual conduct during work hours, raising concerns about misuse of public time and resources. Although rumors regarding her behavior have circulated for years, recently surfaced messages appear to substantiate these claims.

On April 1, 2025, Watechia and her ex-husband attempted to renegotiate and settle a post-divorce matter. However, they were unable to reach an agreement. Her ex-husband stated that he intended to take the matter to court and let a judge decide the outcome. During the discussion, he warned Watechia that, if the issue went before a judge, details of her alleged affairs—including one involving Chief Drake—could be made public.
In a calculated attempt to prevent her ex-husband from disclosing this information, Watechia falsely reported a crime to the Metro Nashville Police Department in order to obtain an order of protection. Her rationale was that the order would legally bar him from speaking publicly about her, thereby silencing him. She falsely claimed that her ex-husband had placed a tracker on her car and phone.
Knowing the allegations were untrue, Watechia informed police that she did not wish to pursue criminal charges, but requested that the order of protection include a clause prohibiting her ex-husband from making negative or derogatory statements about her in public.
Despite her refusal to press charges, Metro Nashville Police proceeded with the case based solely on her allegations. Based on Watechia's statements and subsequent testimony—later determined to be perjured—the District Attorney's office initially pursued charges. However, once it was revealed that the accusations were entirely fabricated, the District Attorney ultimately dismissed the case.
According to reports, Watechia Lawless disclosed to her supervisor, Marjorie Pomeroy-Wallace, that she had engaged in an affair with Chief Drake and had obtained a temporary order of protection against her ex-husband. According to reports, Watechia Lawless disclosed to her supervisor, Marjorie Pomeroy-Wallace, that she had engaged in an affair with Chief Drake and had obtained a temporary order of protection against her ex-husband. Following this disclosure, Pomeroy-Wallace reportedly notified the Internal Affairs Division of the Metro Nashville Police Department, prompting an investigation into both matters.
During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that Lawless's ex-husband may possess sensitive and potentially damaging information involving both Lawless and Chief Drake. As a result of what has been characterized as a fabricated complaint by Lawless, her ex-husband was arrested multiple times. In the first two arrests, law enforcement confiscated two of his cell phones. He reportedly cooperated fully with the Metro Nashville Police Department, granting access to the devices. The contents of both phones—including text messages and communications involving Lawless, Chief Drake, and the ex-husband—were downloaded by MNPD investigators.
Shortly after this data extraction, several text messages were allegedly leaked to the media. When questioned, Alex Apple publicly denied any knowledge of the investigation or the messages between Lawless and Chief Drake. However, reports suggest this statement contradicts internal records, as the investigation reportedly began after notification from the Mayor's Chief of Staff.
Apple later stated that the mayor’s office is committed to ensuring the safety of its employees. However, sources argue that the issue at hand was not employee safety, but rather an attempt to prevent the story from becoming public. The mayor’s office has since declined to comply with open records requests related to both Watechia Lawless and Chief Drake.
At this point, only an estimated 40% of the relevant messages have been shared on this site. Some content—including images allegedly involving Lawless and Chief Drake—is reportedly being reviewed and censored before potential public release. With the existence of these communications now confirmed, the narrative can no longer be dismissed as speculation. These are the words and actions of the individuals involved.
Given the serious nature of the alleged conduct, many are now questioning why Watechia Lawless continues to serve in a prominent role as the face of children and youth initiatives in Nashville.
